Privacy Policy
Summary; the full text is in the app at this address. Version 2026-10-23.
This policy explains what CueGrid collects and how it is used. CueGrid never asks for or stores the passwords to your streaming services; connecting a service only tells CueGrid which deep-links to show you. Your streaming credentials never touch CueGrid.
YouTube and Google (embedded videos): we embed videos with the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player, and nothing is sent to YouTube until you press play. Video thumbnails on Watch are fetched by our own server, so showing them sends YouTube nothing about you. On Watch, once you have pressed play, the YouTube videos you swipe to next start on their own. Each one connects your browser directly to YouTube/Google, which receives your IP address, your device and browser information, and which video is playing, handled under the Google Privacy Policy.
Some pages start a free live channel on their own, with the sound off: the featured channels on the Home page, the Sports page, and Watch when its first slide is a live channel. As the page opens, your browser connects to that channel's stream host (for example Bloomberg, Red Bull TV or Deutsche Welle, and the delivery networks they use), which sees your IP address and browser information, on its own terms.
When you play a podcast episode, your browser fetches the audio from the address its publisher gave. That address often passes first through the publisher's own measurement and advertising services (for example Podtrac, Podsights, Podscribe, Magellan AI or Claritas) before it reaches the audio host. Those services see your IP address and browser information and count the play, under their own terms. CueGrid does not choose them, and runs no advertising trackers of its own.
The only cookies that may appear come from an embedded player (for example YouTube) once a video plays, including one that starts on its own, or from a podcast publisher's measurement service when you play an episode.
Verigrant (VX Encryption, Inc., an affiliate): pending activation. When CueGrid's agent front is switched on, registered AI agents can read CueGrid's public guide data through Verigrant's agent directory. No information about you is sent to Verigrant.
